Job Description

The PreSales Consultant will play a pivotal role in our customer engagement efforts, working closely with clients to understand their challenges, propose innovative solutions, and guide them towards an optimized future state. This position demands a high level of energy, passion for problem-solving, and a deep understanding of digital transformation trends. The ideal candidate will have a knack for grasping customer needs, crafting compelling presentations, and demonstrating our solutions in a way that resonates with customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with enterprise customers to understand their digital transformation challenges and requirements.
  • Develop and present comprehensive proposals that include current solutions and visionary future states.
  • Create engaging presentations and wireframes to communicate solution approaches effectively.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, share best practices, and apply this knowledge to solve customer problems.
  • Provide expert demonstrations of our solutions, tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with customer expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, managing conversations and expectations with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
  • Assist in the creation of comprehensive proposals, quotes, and other necessary documentation for the sales process.
  • Provide valuable insights on market positioning and differentiators to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Develop and manage pilot and proof-of-concept initiatives, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Lead and grow the Sales Engineering function within the organization.
  • Represent the company in trade shows, sharing information on our products and services.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a PreSales role, preferably within the tech and solution consulting industry.
  • Proven track record of engaging with enterprise customers, understanding their challenges, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations and wireframes.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital transformation trends and best practices.
  • Experience providing product demonstrations and managing customer interactions, particularly with clients. Having exposure to the North American region is critical.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
  • Ability to lead and grow a team.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding pre-sales targets.
