Creative designers were burdened with manually copying over 300 fields from Product Information Management (PIM) data into product catalogues, a process that had to be repeated for each language and region.
This not only overloaded designers with non-creative, repetitive tasks but also increased the risk of inconsistent product information when updates were required.
Additionally, disconnected systems like PIM, DAM, and design tools created data silos, further complicating the process of ensuring accurate, compliant, and brand-consistent content. Our Implementation Approach
Our approach focused on streamlining and automating the content localization process by implementing CHILI GraFx publisher, integrated with the client’s Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems. We created smart templates that allowed designers to build the base layout just once, while language, certifications, and product-specific data were automatically populated based on business rules.
This automation eliminated the need for manual copy-pasting, ensuring consistent and up-to-date content. By integrating PIM with CHILI, product specifications were fetched directly, maintaining accuracy and compliance across all regions.
Sales and marketing teams could now generate localized content on demand, reducing the burden on creative designers and drastically improving time-to-market.
